Refund policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with an item, you may request a refund within 7 days of receipt, subject to the conditions below. Please note that a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund for eligible returned items.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, or unused, with tags or labels, and in its unopened original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt, proof of purchase, or packing slip. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error, such as an incorrect or defective item being shipped.
If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact our support team at returns@thesmitheryllc.com with your order number and reason for return.
- We'll provide a Return Authorization (RA) number and shipping instructions.
- Ship the item with the RA number noted somewhere in the contents of the package.
Please retain proof of return shipment until the refund is processed.
Restocking Fee
A 15% restocking fee applies to all returned items unless the item was defective or damaged upon arrival, or the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped). This fee helps cover inspection, repackaging, and administrative costs.
Shipping Damages and Order Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please include photographic evidence, if possible, to expedite the processing of your request.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards, clearance items, used items, or items with opened packaging.
Exchanges
Currently, we do not offer exchanges. Instead, we will process a refund for the returned item(s) and ask that you place a separate order for your desired item(s).
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method within 5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. A restocking fee of 15% will be deducted from the refund, unless the item is being returned due to damages sustained while in transit.
